Ive been lurking on this site for some time now and wanted an opinion on how much I should try and sell my truck for. Its an 01 prerunner 2.7 with 175k miles. No power windows or locks. Has cruise control. It has relatively new tires on it they have about 15k on them. I have some paper work for it. Mainly just receipts for various parts, oil change, coolant etc. Its completely stock except for a drop in kn air filter and the plasti-dipped wheels. The only thing that I know is wrong with it is there is a clunk in the suspension when going over bumps. Its never been driven hard or taken off road or anything like that. Just normal driving. No accidents either. I love how reliable this truck is but i have no need for a truck and need something with more room. Anyways whats a good starting price? Kbb had it around 7800 private. Thanks in advance.

Thats pretty decent I suppose. A dealer offered me 5800 for it. I know I can sell it for more than that though. They seem to be pretty hard to find in my area.

    Almost looks like a stepside?
What are those running boards. Put it up for 9500. I doubt you'll get less than 8000

No idea about the running boards man. My dad bought it some years ago and gave it to me. I thought the running boards were an option when getting the truck brand new from toyota. It need some touch up paint in a few spots. I plan on cleaning it up real well before I post it for sale. Just looking to get opinions on price.

Yes, they are a option from dealer. BUt as far as I know, they usually offer the running boards manufactured from Toyota that look like this. http://www.tacomaworld.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/272621/cat/500/ppuser/83125

If kbb is 7800, there's no way I'd take less then 7 for it. Tacoma's are a hot commodity where I live (texas) and I have people ask me if i'll sell mine at least once a month. And you're lucky your girlfriend doesn't punch you for posting a picture of her picking her nose on a website :)

I'd say pricing it at $7,500 is more realistic for the features, year, and mileage.

I didn't even notice it when I first posted it. Lol she was pissed when she say it and demanded that I delete the picture.

If I sold it for 7500 I would be happy with that price. I feel like its a fair price but if I could get more than that's even better.

If it had all power options, TRD package, E-locker, and a V6 than I would price it closer to $10K, but since it doesn't that's why I said $7,500 is more realistic. Anyways I'm sure it will sell regardless.
