Welcome to MazdaWorld, a subsidiary of TacomaWorld. Anything and everything you'd want to know about a Mazda just browse this site and you'll eventually find things about Mazdas you really had no reason to care about in the first place. You won't be looking for it but it'll jump out at you because any problem that might arise with your Tacoma can be equated to problems with a Mazda. If your belt squeals...there is a very good chance a Mazda owner has had the same problem. Stereo on the fritz? You guessed it, his did too. Your frame rotted? Just hold on, give him a winter or two to catch up. Good thing UCAs won't help with tire rub on a Mazda because that will be another mother humpin' thread started.

    HOLY CRAP!!!!!! EfreakiNUFF Already!!!!

If he did leave it running at the mall, there would be a note with the keys locked up in the car letting him know he left the car running....No one would want it.

Put an ad in every media source you can possible think of. Sell it, sell it ,short sell it. Just dump the thing. You're the one with the 4.0 grade point average. FIGURE IT OUT! Again, my 4.0 is under the hood of my TACOMA. Take all the time you've been here a wishin' and a hopin' the Tacoma Fairy would switch vehicles in the dawn's early light and get the job done.

Then we can sit back a wait for all the same questions you've already asked about what will fit, will this clunck?, what are others getting for fuel mileage?, why is my speedo off?. Can someone photo shop....will these rub? how much lift?,how much does a lift cost? Atleast then when you actually pony up and get that Tacoma, The question will be annoying but relevant.

    Thank you and good night.

I know what you're saying, it's just not as easy as you make it sound. I'm working on it, there's just a point where I want to get to with Mazda. It's up for sale, it's gonna go one way or the other.
I'll cut it out here if that makes you happy.

why don't you just trade it in?

yeah, you'll take a loss, but it's the easiest way to get it out of your hands...which seems like something you really, really, REALLY want.

Little too much loss. I could get about 20K selling it...all Toyota would give me is 16K. Not enough for my financial situation to get me a truck.

That's only 4k loss. We took a 9k bath on ditching the wife's POS Ford/Volvo 06 S40 to get her in the 07 RAV4. Just do it & be done & have something to keep long term, it'll be worth it.

My 2005 LSD works great, same as any pre-09 sport. 2wd, no auto-LSD/ VSC buttons push to get up my snowy driveway or in the fields. Always 'on' in 4hi and 4lo unlike 09's. But with good traction, it will fishtail
easier than other models (similar to a full locker). So takes more driver skill to handle.

I've throughly tested the 09' on snow. No doubt its safer w/ VSC and the when you toggle the right Trac settings, it works, But I like simple old school LSD, and proper tires for the best handling.

Bah! That's not breaking down. that's normal wear and tear items. ;)
Yea but for a high school kid who's taking summer classes to get caught up instead of having a job...it's a HUGE loss.

Nope, community college. Never got my language requirement out of the way so I'm taking American Sign Language I and then II.
    Damn good question!

Here's the deal...back in my freshman year of high school I took Spanish 2, terrible teacher and I couldn't get the hang of the grammar so I flunked it. Went through my soph and junior years of high school still needing a second year of the same language. This summer before my senior year I'm finally tackling it with ASL I and II at my local community college and since my high school doesn't offer ASL I can get credit as my language requirement for graduating! :D (and college)
If my Spanish 2 teacher hadn't harassed and failed me, I would probably have a job and most likely not worry as much about a $4K loss.

The electronic limited slip was a positive for me. Mechanical limited slip can make a vehicle really squirrely to drive in slick winter weather. An open diff is more stable.

With the electronic limited slip, I have the extra traction for getting un-stuck at the push of a button, but an open diff for stable winter weather driving. I like that combination.
