How do I make my 2008 TRD Sport SR5 beep when I lock the doors?!

    Don't know if you can for sure since I own a newer truck, I am not even sure if it is a feature on yours. If it is, according to my owner's manual, it's something that has to be done by the dealership or a technician (unless you wanted to do some modding or are savvy on computer work).

    I have a 2008 PreRunner. It does not beep when locking/unlocking doors. Dealer said it depends on where truck was made. In other words, not all trucks are made the same.

    This. Look in your owners manual. The dealer can change this in the computer. It is a software setting that requires no changes to the wiring.
