Campershell bolts?

    Anyone who runs a campershell (using the toyota rail stem) know if you can cut the bolts down flush? I didn't put the shell (leer 180) on so I'm not sure if you need all those extra threads
    My bolts hang down about 1.5"

    my bolts are pretty obnoxiously long, cutting it will not hurt, but i'd put some locktite and leave a few threads though. never had any issues with mine moving.
