Thanks for the reply. however I really like the shape of these boxes and they also do custom work. Anyone else have any thoughts on which box?

It all depends on what size and type of speaker (Sub) that you plan on putting in. All speakers have size requirements for optimal performance.

I personally would utilize Mr Marv or build your own, it's not that hard. I would also urge you to consider some minor sound deadening in the doors and back wall......it makes a huge difference!

Good Luck either way and post pics after completed.

I've used SuperCrewSound for two boxes now, one a single 10" in my DC and now a dual 10" in my DC. I've been happy with the construction with both, they are solid, the shipping is fast to Canada, and the fit and finish is right up there. Only thing I can comment on is they tend not to wrap carpet, but cut it at corners and it sometimes peels off. A little glue and you're good to go.

Good idea I might have to try.

Thanks for the ideas. I have heard good things about sound deadening. I'll try to get some pics when I get her figured out.

Sweet so glad to hear a review. They make the box to the specs that you want right? Thanks

I have a single 10" subwoofer box in my double cab from SuperCrewSound and I'm happy with it. The shipping was longer than what I was quoted by a week. Other than that, I've been happy with it. The build quality seems good and it fit right in place. I told them which subwoofer I was going to use and they cut the opening to size. It was a perfect fit. I haven't noticed the carpet peeling off like ZMan2k2 experienced.

No problem. Here's a few pictures of the box in my truck that I have on hand. I know its different box than the one you're looking at, but it still might help a bit. And from the looks of it, SuperCrewSound appears to do at least some wrapping of the carpet. I'd go out and look at the carpet job, but I bolted the box to the truck so I can't easily see the back or bottom.

I'm currently running a image dynamics 10" in a taco tunes box. That being said I just received a new box from Mr.Marv. The quality of the Marv box is top notch as well as his customer service. I'm going to be running a 10" fosgate p3 in the marv box. The box that marv built me is specifically designed for the sub i'm going to run. I also had marv built me an amp rack to go with it.

Thanks for the pics it looks really good! I know they changed the mounting hole for the sub that you picked but did they also change the air space inside the box?

    Thanks

No, they didn't change the air space. It coincidentally worked out that the box provided roughly the amount of air space I needed for my sub. If you're looking for the perfect amount of air space from a box and need a slightly more custom box, go the MrMarv route. I haven't worked with him, but everyone that has seems to love his stuff.
