I heard from someone that they will come with black headlights, led taillights and an MP3 jack. Don't know how much truth there is to that though.

I would imagine the new Tacoma will be out at the end of this year; given the looks of the new Tundra, I suspect body changes are on the horizon. If that's the case I'm glad I just bought the 08 Taco because I do not like the new look.

Given the increase in gas prices and the likelihood that Congress may eventually impose "fleet mileage averages", i.e., both market and potential legislative pressures, I'd guess that there's not a snowball's chance in hell that the Taco will ever see a factory V-8. If anything, you're more likely to see more I4s being produced and eventually a hybrid version as well, although certainly not in '09. There was a post on the Prius forum indicating that Toyota has plans to produce a hybrid version of every vehicle they make by '12. We shall see.

Here are some links taken from Tundrasolutions.com & Toyotanation.com they will clarify a lot of our doubts for Tacoma 2009.

Toyota's order, production and delivery dates.

    2009 Tacoma's changes.

Hope this cool things down or heat them high...

From all these changes I will like to see come true: WMA/MP3 capable, Audio AUX input and the magnetic grey metallic, everything else is not needed (for me) and/or is not fully complete or adopted.

2009 Tacoma has arived at Norther California dealers. Yes it does have LED tail lamps other then that not much different. MPG estimates went up by 1 on the HWY to 26 from 25. Some interior optoions are standard on new models.
