if you want the doors to sound good buy a luxury sedan not a truck. the doors on my families 2014 Mercedes sound good but it cost a little more than your truck...

Bahaha I used to feel like my truck was a humvee after I sold it for a Titan. That must be the reason why I'm picking up a new Tacoma next week. If I was worried about it the lack of quality in a Tacoma I wouldnt be going back.

Haha that picture was funny... But either way the guy is asking for help. Help him out if you know what he can do to fix his issue. If you don't have anything constructive to say then why post? Why waste his and your time, this making fun of shit gets old. Some people are still in middle school, mentally...

lol people already chimed in dynamat/insulation and the like, not sure what else he can do...put weights in the door? Fill the inside of the door with insulation foam? Get tube doors instead? Retrofit Rav4 doors? Trade the Tacoma in?:notsure:

I noticed when I close the tail gate, a hydraulic arm doesnt assist me in doing so. Wtf kind of cheap ass truck did I buy, making me have to close the tailgate manually?

    Seriously..

I'm sorry I just find 1st world problems a bit funny. Guy bought a truck which I'm assuming he test drove or atleast opened/closed the door to check out the interior where he would have discovered the sound wasn't up to his expectation and his first post is about a minor nuance.

Help him out if you know how to fix the issue? There is nothing to fix! He is just bitching because the door doesent sound like he thinks it should. Does it seal all the way? yes? Does it lock? Yes? Does it fly open on the highway? No? Then there is nothing wrong with it.

OP its an access cab. No pillar for the door to attach to. Like mentioned before. Closing on the other door doesnt help with sturdiness but once its latched in its not going anywhere.
