2013 Bolt On Sliders

Just got them installed, and I love them! Brandon was great to deal with; super informative and very friendly. The overall customer service and experience was awesome. It took between 3 and 4 weeks from order to delivery, and I couldn't be happier. I covered them with duplicolor spray on bedliner. It gave me the textured finish I want, but lets me touch it up if I bang them up. The stuff costs about $10 a can. As you can see, it doesn't look perfect, but that is a reflection of my lack of painting skills and poor location (had to paint indoors due to weather, and I have no garage), not the product. Highly recommend Avid to anyone, and I will definitely be doing business with them again in the upcoming months. Thanks again!!!

 

I'm thinking of buying a set , I don't do much wheeling they will be used more as steps . How do they work as steps ? They out far enough ?

Not to far as to where they are shin bangers ?

I'd love to see more pics from more angles to if you don't mind

 

They work great as steps, my wife (5'5''ish) loves them, but they give you a bit more clearance than other step bars. They also stick out far enough that they would keep something from running into the truck, like someone else's door. I am out of town for another two weeks or so, but I can take some more pictures and send them your way when I get back.

 

Boy I wish you posted sooner , I was on the fence about buying the sliders . Couldn't find enough pics on them and wasn't sure if they could be used as steps so I purchased oem steps but I regret it already .

 

Any one know whats up with Avid Offroad? I've sent a couple of emails and got no response. Got an answering machine when called today?????

 

I sent them an email as well with a request for a bumper but have not heard anything.

 

I too would like to see PICS on the 2nd gen iam on the fence on what set to buy
