Trending video of a 21 year old being questioned at a "DUI" checkpoint

The LEO never once mentioned anything about drinking or any other influential driving going on.

Would love to hear the LEOs opinion on this

Just another LEO thinking they are above the law, that's sad.

 

cop looks like the guy who taught me my MSF class, he told us he was a cop aswell as a msf instructor. lol

This is dumb. It's obvious that the kid knows just enough to think he knows it all. The dog "isn't smelling", "only following the officers hand". It had me intrigued before that. After that....douche canoe like all the rest of the button pushing sovereign citizen types. I'm all for personal rights and being informed but this guy hasn't a clue.

Still the LEO broke the law.... its a sad state we live in when the law enforcers cant remember the law they protect. Remember people, we are their bosses, we pay their wage....

 

Thinking "he's above the law" and trying to get compliance through intimidation are two entirely different things. What, in this video, indicates he "thinks he's above the law"?

 

He's proving a point. yeah if he would have just had his rights violated and shut up he would have been just fine

 

They said the kid was legal in his actions and then they disabled the camera. Seems to me they didnt care about the law

 

And you also vote for the people in office who are the ones who decide what LEO's can and can't do.

 

Funny that right after leo#2 says it wasn't a good hit, he notices the video camera. Leo#1 was just pissed that dude didn't respect his authoritah, and used what he had available to punish him in his own way. Scary if this really is how the majority of leo's think. Waiting to hear otherwise. ...

 

how about treating someone like aren't guilty right off the bat? All he had to do was answer questions back that the citizen was asking about what was going on. Why did the kid need to comply to anything? Was he being detained? Arrested? He wouldnt answer, so in turn no compliance is required.

But like I said before kid was trolling for a reaction for sure, which is why he had a camera rolling

chalk this one up as another power hungry cop who forgot what his job is

 

cops now days are a different breed. I my father was a cop and uncle was deputy chief, they say cops now days dont know how to talk to people and always resort to taser or intimidation. Every cop i have run into that is older has been cool. Young ones 40 and under..... douches!!! I have seen a sheriff throw his badge around at a bar he was clearly intoxicated and ended up getting his ass kicked for running his mouth. It was funny to watch. the Gestapo is coming in the form of police officers lol

 

i didn't watch anymore of the vid after the slow motion capture of the dog "scratching" the window.

 

The Constitution was in place way before any of us were born, so our elected officials didn't vote on any of that... lol

I think this is a case of frustration more than anything else, (i.e. the officer using his frustration on the driver)

 

And what the LEO did wasnt following what we allow him to do. Like I said Im not defending the kid, hes a troll. But LEO needs to act professional.
