Just picked her up. Definitely needs a supercharger. I was going to do a TRD in order to retain the warranty. Any of you guys have any tips on the least expensive method of acquisition and installation?

Feels like an awesome truck. Built far better than my other vehicles.

Also...any "mandatory" mods or accessories that you guys would recommend?

Thanks guys. Appreciate the insight. This website seems to have a lot of good information. The best part about it is that there aren't many threads discussing problems! Something I haven't seen in the past 5 vehicles I've owned in recent past.

Civic had too many rattles for me. Evolution was a rattlecan too, but HP made up for it. Trying to move into something more adult, I went with a GT500, but being black--it was too hard to maintain the paint. Sold it for a silver gt500. That had a second gear problem. Sold that for a motorcycle...too fucking hot. Sold that for an STI. THAT car had so many actual and potential problems with it that I can't believe they're still being sold.

This TACOMA is the best thing I've picked up in years. I should have known because my Tundra is at 70k with zero issues whatsoever.

    Lol what.

Many people would recommend weather techs. (Floor protection. Plus it makes cleaning up easier) Personally, I picked up a single mat for my driver side from walmart for $20 or less I think and it has worked.

My plan thus far as far as making the truck more durable for day to day stuff is to get the weather tech mats, some of the wet okole seat covers, a shortie antenna, tonneau cover, tailgate lock, spare wheel lock.

The supercharger when I save enough dough is going to be more for the fun factor.

Why do you want a shortie antenna? Just wondering. I don't do any offroading or anything, and I don't have a need for a shorter antenna.

What would you use a tonneau cover for?

Shortie Antenna because I don't like long antennas (and the current one keeps hitting the top of my garage when I go in and out), and the tonneau cover because I don't be using the bed for lumber and shit and it'll act more like a typical car trunk. Thus I'd like it covered and lockable for day-to-day whatever and road trips and such.

Where'd you get your shortie antenna? Last time I bought one it was just at autozone.
