Can you post a pic of the dent(s)? No tool fixes them all.

I have yet to see that hair dryer trick work in real life. Buddy of mine and I spent about 2 hours fooling with his dents. I decided that hammers and dolly's are the only way to go for most of em now. Just have to work on my finesse.

if it's a dent over 5 inches wide or so, I have had good luck with the suction cups. Pops 'em right out. Fixed a few dents this way. Not sure exactly how big yours are though....

The videos of the paintless dent repair guys pushing them out from the back are pretty cool. An experienced tech can do some amazing work. That's the route I'd go and I have a teeny tiny door ding I may try it on someday.

PDR is amazing. I had a small dent in my bedside and a large one on my roof from my stupidity, and I paid a reasonable amount, and the PDR shop near me got them both out 100%, even though they said they could get the roof out about 80%. Can't even tell.

Here are them, but they are really hard to see in the shadow and we notice better on the sun

^^X2. Those dents are too small to remove without having something show afterwards, unless you're already a PDR tech. In which case, you wouldn't be asking!

I literally just had a guy that came to my house yesterday that did paintless dent removal. My wife's acura had some asshole open their door into hers, left 2 small dents and a scratch. He removed both dents and used some compound on the scratch. 1 hour and $75 later, you can't even tell anything happened! Looks perfect.

A friend of mine has done paintless dent removal for 20 years. He was always globe trotting chasing hail storms. Now he has a brick and mortar. I've watched him a lot and he makes it look easy, but it's not. I would like to think I catch on to new things pretty quick ,but not dent removal. He has a commercial of a dent being fixed, time lapsed.
He said after the commercial came out he started getting a lot of cars the owners had tried to fix themselves and made them worse.

PDR is fricken magic if the guy is good. I've had them remove really sharp dents that look like someone stabbed the door with a pen and its invisible aftewards.

Id never had believed it had I not seen it in real life.

    I disagree.

You can fix any dent with these two common tools:

That's all the tools most people have now

The thing about plungers is that the material stretches sometimes if it's dented so if you do plunge it out you can just turn it from an "innie" to an "outie".

PDR is really hard and takes ages to learn how to do properly. We get a ton of people who made small dents into horrific messes attempting it by themselves... Then again we get people who steel wool their hood to get tree sap off so...

If anyone is in the Ventura, CA area I know a really good PDR place called Dingmasters. He fixed 2 really tough dents on my beer can of a Focus to 99.9%. He works fast and has good prices too.
