V6 KM per Tank ?

Ive ran 575km on a tank hiway driving through Northern Ontario. When I fueled up it took 73L. I never run it that low but this time I had no choice.....

 

598km and put 68.6 litres in it this morning.

Pretty happy with that tank of gas getting me nearly 600km.

Of note - 90% hwy

And I used 94 octane. They were out of 91 so I got 94 at a 91 price (saved 2 c per litre)

100 bucks to fill though....ouch....

 

i usually go 630km to a tank and put in between 75 and 80 litres. that with going another 50km once the gas light comes on.

 

You put 80 litres in ?

I have put in 80 Litres in also. The Max I have gotten out a tank is 555 KM with 265 70 17 with the majority of it highway.

There's a charcoal cannister in there , it's part of the emissions system

 

pfffft emissions. the canister isnt actually in the spout, its a box with a hose that comes off the tank. ive been filling my truck like that since i got it and havent had an issue yet.

I was pretty heavy on the gas pedal the whole time.

Of interest, I drove for about 45 kms with the gas light on (below E), and only got 66 liters in the tank when I filled up. That was with 550 kms down.

 

Note how many litres I put in. Ain't going to get anymore accurate than that.

 

thats pretty good for a 4x4 with lots of weight

 

Specially with how I drive.
Easy on the highway but I'm a demon in the city.

 

ya id say its the highway driving thats getting you most of your milage

 

Probably. Although a good headwind can kill that in a heart beat.

 

i dont doubt that i mean hell a strong enough headwind will kill the milage in my taco
