Always hot AUX plug. Wet Okole's. 33" tires.
I followed the VERY detailed write up from the Tundra Site. I have pulled everything back apart and checked all the connections. Everything is connected except the wires that never were. I checked all the fuses (visually). Everything has power, it just won't turn over. It doesn't click. NOTHING. Good news is that i now have power to my accessory plug so I can charge my phone now.

Post a link to the guide you followed I think that would help a lot for someone to find where you might have made a mistake

Retrace your steps. Did you disconnect the battery before you did all your electrical work? If not, you could have fried something. Is the battery good, was it good when you started? When it comes to electrical work and something magically no longer works after you've messed with wiring, it usually isn't a coincidence, it means you screwed something up and need to retrace your steps.

Could you post a link to the diagram you followed? Adding a constant hot outlet is not very involved and should not have involved splicing of any of the factory wiring besides the wire that plugs into the outlet itself.

I don't know if our wiring is that similar to the Tundra. Retrace, use a test light, take it out if you can't find it.

It is actually a tacoma write up. It is VERY simple. I did forget to disconnect the battery until everything was disconnected. If I fried something, where should I start looking? If I grounded something out, how do I find it? All the fuses under the dash are fine. I've traced my steps three times now. I'm headed out to check the fuses under the hood. Is there ONE specific thing I should start with? Like an... "In case of retard not disconnecting batter, this will fail" type of thing? HAHA

Your link isn't working (for me anyways) but check the fuses under the hood also, specifically any related to EFI, ignition or the starter. Does anything else not function, headlights, radio, etc?

Everything else seems to work okay. I haven't checked EVERY thing electrical. Going to go do that now. Then I'll start checking continuity on all the connectors. Maybe I pulled a wire loose.

Okay. I was wrong. There is no power to the Windows, radio, turn signals, ac fan. There is power to the dash. The link came from the tech talk thread for free and cheap mods. Its listed as a tundra site, but it specifically mentions it being a Tacoma.

Do you have a test light? Sounds like the power to your under hood fuse panel is fried. Turn the key on and see if the EFI circuit has power to it. The circuits you're saying are dead are all on separate circuits in the under hood fuse box. Let me see if I can find the link I'm thinking of that will help you. If I recall correctly, there is a large circuit that feeds the under hood fuse panel, sounds like you fried it.

Check the main fuse (top left), there should be 2 large fuses next to each other, see if you blew either of those.

Before you replace anything, make sure you find the problem. Even if it means undoing everything you did. This mod should just be a fused wire from the battery, straight to the aux outlet. How was yours wired?

I used the alternative way. I pulled the relay apart and wedge the circuit closed.

And... I only have one fuse in the upper left hand corner. I see you have two. You have an ORANGE one and a BLUE one. I only have the ORANGE one. Was going to ask what that was about. It was like that before this though.

That could very, very easily result in a short circuit... Just my $0.02 but there are better/easier ways to go about this mod.

Test for power at the fuse with the key on. There should be 1 or 2 EFI circuits in the under hood fuse box. Make sure the first one is getting power with the key on.

That's not actually my truck, just an image I pulled off TW. If I'm not mistaken, the other large fuse is for Tacomas equipped with the tow package. Mine shouldn't have the second fuse up there either.

I checked for power at the EFI relay? Is that what you mean? It has twelve volts.

Did you check the big fuse in the upper corner of the picture?

I can't get it out. I'm afraid of breaking it. It's pretty easy to see. I think I would know if that one was blown.
