I am about to plasti dip my badges and wheels on my 2009 Magnetic Gray Tacoma 4x4. Just upsized the tires to BFG All Terrain KOs. So the rest of the truck needs to start looking meaner. I am gonna black out the badges. I want to plasti dip the chrome on the front grill and back bumper. Grill is color matched except for the chrome outline. I don't want to do black for these. So is the Gun Metal gray or Anthracite Gray a closer match to the Mangetic Gray. We don't have any in any stores around here except black and white, so I can't compare. I will be ordering from internet and want to get the right color. Next question. Should I black out wheels or use the same gray as grill/bumper? I am planning on dipping everything on tire except for chrome lugs. Any help is greatly appreciated.

We are more of an Orange type of family. Oklahoma State fans! But not on this truck.

I'm not sure which is closest but if you want it to match, get a rattle can full of MGM.

Here are some bad pictures as I just walked out to snap some quick pictures to give you an idea. This is plastidip on front emblem, side emblems, and wheels. I also did rear emblems and steering wheel emblem.

I just picked up the truck two weeks ago and removed the mud flaps and side steps, and derped the truck. Only time will tell how long it will last. I am also contemplating removing the roof rack.

Here it was the day after I bought it two weeks ago after removing side steps and mud flaps.

MDS did you dip the bumper or was it already color coded. I found dupli color in MGM but I didn't want to do anything permanent. Would rather dip it. Bit the way the black turner out tonight, I am just gonna back everything out with black plasti dip.

If you pull the rack and want to sell let me know - i would be willing to send you back the rubber to fill the channels.
