    This was surprising to me as well. They mentioned how they were running bio-fuel and being as I live in Colorado I've done research in the past and bio-fuel doesn't like the cold temps of CO so I'm not sure how barrels left in the middle of nowhere near the south pole fared. The 4.0L is also not a diesel engine so ??

    Gasoline works just fine in Antarctic temperatures. Diesel gels more easily, so the Arctic Hilux was modified to run Jet-A.

    BTW, due to transport costs, the fuel in Antarctica costs about $10k a drum :eek:
