Was cutting some trails behind my place, pulling my Woods mower deck behind my tractor. Got back to the garage and realized my keys were no longer in my pocket.

Took the quad back on the trails to look for them. Good news is I found my keys.

Bad news is my mower deck had found them first...

haha that sucks man. But, glass half full, at least you know the blades are sharp. Look how clean that cut is on the Advantage card!

just kidding, good luck replacing them, hopefully it doesn't cost too much.

I do. It's the "valet" key they give you as an extra. No extra push button door lock deal though.

To replace one of the main master keys "black" not the "gray" valet key can cost $70. The fob also can be that much too. Being they they'll need to to be programed at a dealer it'll be $$$ for both.

As for your keys I keep mine on one of those spring snap things that look like the ones used for rock climbing. Keys are on good key rings and the snap thing hooks on my belt loop. No fallen keys. Surprised you didn't hear the noise when they got chewed by the mower blades, unless you were wearing hearing protection of some kind.

It appears that the keyless board is okay, if that's the case, you can just buy a new shell off of ebay for about $7 shipped (ebay).

So that's what the inside of key fob looks like. Yeah! Last year I had bent one of my keys and had to go buy another one at the dealership, they weren't cheap. Till this day I still don't know how I bent it. I found that it was bent when I couldn't get my key out of the ignition. I wouldn't suggest banging it with a rock and trying to use it. Just sayin'.

Yeah... I typically have my keys on a steel carabiner, but I was in a hurry and just had nylon gym shorts on (w/ no belt loops) so I had them in my pocket.

I probably did hear them get chewed up, but I beat the crap out of my mower deck (hitting roots, rocks, etc. all of the time), so the sound probably didn't register as a problem.

Thanks, and good point. I will probably get a battery and try the board out to see if it is still functional.
