    Just got this 2003 Tacoma.

I noticed on my airbox there looks to be a spot for a hose to connect.

I have seen on some pictures that they have something hooked up there. However they were either another year or another engine.

Does anyone else has a 2.4L Tacoma or know if I should actually have anything hooked up there?

Just added pictures. Its on the right side of the airbox. I am trying to diagnose a check engine light and want to rule out a few things. Any help here is greatly appreciated.

Yeah there should be a foam hose there. Mine actually started to tear where it connected to that nipple, so i patched ziptied it.

Took a while to find a nice pic of the 4cyl engine, and actually this one's not great. But yeah, there's a line in there that runs along the front. Check the pic in the link, then look at the little tube running along your radiator. Looks like it drops off past your oil stick. Where's it going?!?!

disclaimer. I dont know a lot about trucks. I learn by mistakes when doing all of my maintenance
