can someone measure the width of the overhead console for me? weird i know

    so im in the office and dont have a measuring tape in the immediate vicinity, and i'm trying to decide what switch panel to order to install in the overhead console where the sunglasses holder is, could someone measure the overall width and the width of the sunglasses compartment? i'd do it myself if i had a measuring device, and im anxious to order it otherwise i'd just do it at home. if someone could help me out......
