    Check out the video in post 26, seems the rear u-joint seems to be a common failure. :cool:

    Reasons not to do it. Also theoretically all of those pickups should be built stronger than mine and yet they still fail.

    Bye bye clutch transmission and front end. Ifs will be crying after a truck pull. Look up duramax truck pull fails. They are running ifs and half shafts snap also tie rods. Grant it they are pushing double the power of a tacoma.

    Yes the more that I think of it it would be the equivalent of taking a camery to Offroad. Just because it can doesn't mean it it should. Light haulers arnt built like full size. at least to me it isn't worth all the parts if potential failure. But the beauty of it.. Its your truck and your free to do whatever u want.

    If the truck is your daily driver, don't do it. And doesn't it specifically say in the owner's manual not to tow in 4WD due to possible damage to drivetrain?
