You'll probably say I've gone off the deep end but here goes; My wife & I finally test drove the 2013 PreRunner TRD Off-Road, & the TRD Sport. We liked them both but as a lot of you folks have already mentioned the sport was more comfortable. Problem is...(& nothing personal guys) I don't like the scoop, or the color coordinated grill trim and rear bumper.

So my question is; are all these parts interchangeable?

    Thanks in advance!

    Marty

You'll find a lot of members willing to trade you. I got my Sport for the color matched pieces. I dislike chrome.

Don't worry about the scoop. It will grow on you.

Color matched parts for chrome parts will trade very very quickly so will the scoop to non scoop (you can even ask for a little bit of money)

Sounds like I'm making a big mistake. Maybe I should buy the truck, try it out and if I still feel the same in a month or two switch them out.

Just in case; Any Pyrite Mica owners out there who would switch hoods with me? Sorry if this isn't the place to ask.

Here's another thought; Can the front seats of the Sport be switched to the Off-Road & not void the warranty?

You said you wanted the sport because it was more comfortable but then you want to change the seats out for the off road edition, I don't get it :notsure:

I mentioned that because I like the off-road capability of the prerunner and its looks but I dislike the seats. The seats of the sport are much more comfortable IMO. Strange Toyota hasn't figured that one out.

Wow...I can't even blame that on being drunk during the test drive. I guess the sales guy didn't want to embarrass me in front of my wife. I brought this same thing up with him...

Yes, the Sport was more comfortable but not to a large degree. I thought the only difference really was a slightly stiffer ride w/the Off-Road.

    Thanks Oz...

tires can also make a difference in ride. quality tires on an off-road would probably ride better than a sport with crap tires.
