I went to go do an alignment on my truck after the entire lift had been installed and know what I found? Caster had been moved quite a bit, I didn't care so much about that, Camber was right around the amount I wanted it to be at and toe was never thrown off. That tells me that doing a mild lift 2-3" will not throw you all out of whack like most seem to think.

    Lots...

Im planning to get the 5100s with some 886s... My taco is a DCSB with ARB bumper and with plans to get a winch...

So, if I get the 5100s and 886s, I could set them to 0 and still get the lift? or set them to 2" because of all the weight?

    Thanks!!!

These are what i plan to buy. I am assuming i would chose part#24-186728 for the rear shocks. I am replacing all four original bilstein hd with 5100's. I just want toset front at 1.75 to level it. I don't want to lift or add a leaf or anything else. I just want get the 4 5100's installed and an alignment. I know it will probably be expensive to have them installed but i can't do it myself. Has anyone paid to have them installed and how much was it? Also i am assuming this kit is all i need? I am using the factory coils. Thank You

You are correct. I think 886s are made to compensate the weight of bumper and winch. Do not set your 5100s to anything other than 0, especially with 886. Iirc, 886's spring rate is higher than 885.

EDIT: After some research, it is recommended that you run full OME lift with 886.

I was a little "nose high" with the 5100s set at 1.75 before I had the rear leaf TSB done.

I'm installing the 5100's today on a 2013 DCLB 4x, front set at 1.75" . No aal, just want to level the truck. I also have stock UCA. I have an appointment for an alignment tomorrow. I've been reading alignment threads till my eyes bleed trying to determine the optimum settings for this mild lift. I haven't found anything other than 2.5" to 3" lift numbers. What i read is 0* toe, 0* camber and 2+ for caster .
I'd like to be able to request a specific set of spec's if the factory settings are less than ideal.
