New help buying my first tacoma!!

Do you think this is a good investment 2000 toyota tacoma xtra cab 6 cylinder
$6995 not including taxes and fees from the dealer that has 179,000 miles on it?
i dont have 15,000 to spend, i only drive about 10,000 miles a year? what do you think? Is that way to high in milage? How long do these trucks last miles wise?

Not a bad price, check the frame for any bad rust.

 

That is a Fair price, if you have searched a bit you will notice these trucks have a Big resale value! It is unbelievable what these older taco are selling for..
Ask about the major service.. timing belt, water pump, all fan belts & brakes.. Is it a original Ca. truck? Get a Carfax. If it looks decent inside & out... Grab her! Hard to find clean ones with those miles and that price....
