Just picked up a new 4WD 2013 access cab. How do I remove the drivers foot rest? I can pull harder but thought I should check first to see if tools invovled?

Can I have it, mine's broke?

There are two tabs that hold it on in the center, I'll take pics of mine.

I assume that is something that hasn't changed, I could be wrong.

The 2 squares go over the pegs, one of mine is split as you can see. I took a quick look (didn't want to fiddle too long, its a hot one today) but I don't think you can access the tabs while attached, I think a good pry or jerk will get it off.

If it works the same and you don't want it, I'll be happy to take it off your hands.

Thanks for the pic. I'll Go out and try to pry it off today. I'm just trying to get behind the kick panel to install the wiring for my Pop and Lock. The harder you pull, the easier it comes.

    That's what she said.

Now that is out of the way. I would say if you can get as close as possible to the grey pegs before prying, get it centered and should pop off. Good luck
