I bought my truck with 80k miles, it's got 150k now and has had a 6 inch fabtech lift since I bought it. My shocks have crazy travel in them and you can compress them almost completely with just body weight. Can anyone fill me in on what kind of shocks I need to accommodate my lift? Good brands websites ect.

shocks are not meant to hold weight. most brand new shocks can be compressed by hand. they're used to dampen the hitting forces the truck experiences when running over bumps or into holes.

a "good" replacement shock all depends on budget and type of things you will be using the vehicle for. depending on how the shocks mount to the drop bracket and vehicle, you'll need stock height shocks or shocks that accommodate all six inches of lift plus suspension travel.

I see thanks for input. Ill attach some images for confirmation but I think I need shocks whom allow for lift/travel. I just payed off two loans so I can save money pretty easy right now, wife's car she will want another now that it's paid for so I want to replace as much as possible lol on my neglected truck. Truck commutes highways and sees occasional trail riding ie. ruts rock crawling nothing too intense though. Thanks in advance

The front coilovers are totally stock. The rear accommodates your lift.

I'd replace the front with some Bilstein 5100's and the rear with 5125's that are meant for your amount of lift. Good quality shocks for the price.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
If you look up more it appears to be strut spacers with stock coils and shocks that is included with the Fabtech 6" basic lift. If you want to shell out the cash and make it ride the best way you can invest in some Kings coilovers for 6" lift. New custom rear leaf pack and new rear shocks. If not then reuse your stock coils and add like stated Bilstein 5100's at 0" and rear 5125's.
