One minor disappointment in my 2013 is the front center console storage in my access cab. The storage compartment is just one big compartment. I would imagine what happens is it get filled up with stuff and you never see or remember what's on the bottom. Would have been nice to have a lift out tray or set up like the one in my 2003 Camry. On that one when you lift up the lid there is approx. a two inch deep storage compartment. Then another latch allows access to an approx. 6 or 7 inch deep compartment. Anyone come up with a clever idea for this. Where do you guys throw your spare change?

I just made my own. Bought 2 pieces of plexiglass from Lowes, epoxied them together, and painted them. Works out perfect and I could customize it for my needs. Less than $3 in material.

I ordered a bar caddy off Amazon. It worked really great, even had a great spot for my XD40. But now that I've installed a console vault, I'm looking for a new way to organize my stuff.

If you just bought your truck, call up the sales guy and ask him/her about the console net... it's a cheap item and they might just give it to you to keep you happy.

Check by your jack and tire tools. I found mine there like 2 years after I bought my truck.

Did you just buy your truck? If so I would talk to the salesman and see what he could do. Yeah.. I agree it's only $9 but hey... couldn't hurt to ask. You might get lucky.

Does anyone know if the Salex divider or the cargo net hold a full size 1911 in place? I usually just pull the cup holders out and creep it in there, but this would be much easier access.

Thanks hadn't noticed that. Truck only has 400 miles on it so I might have found that sooner or later but that is perfect for change.

I lifted the bottom piece out and found the same plastic cardboard like material. Then made a template of the bottom and cut a piece slightly larger. Console is wider in the middle. Then using black all weather carpet I covered the new bottom piece. I have sectioned storage about 3" deep. And to look inside you would never notice. Sorry but every time I try to post pics the site goes into crack head mode.

If you get it for free. The money you save you can buy more lube. It's a win, win.
