I plasti dipped my back bumper white. Fairly decent match unless you're staring at it. But just to glance decent enough. I will post up pics In a few. As far as the grill surround. Turned out like crap. Bought a base model grille from rock auto. Had it painted professionally and total cost including paint and grille was 75.00

Two cans to get it right. The white plasti dip is a lot harder to use than the black. Since it doesn't cover as well

That white plasti-dip isn't bad at all! Might have to color match mine sometime and change my avatar to 'Almost plasti-dip free Tacoma' :anonymous:

Hey Newlife, how does it look in person/in the sun? Did you take the bumper off and tape off the black or leave it on and tape?
Looks good from the pictures btw.

I purchased my white grill surround for $170 from my local dealer and sold my chrome for $125 on CL. I went to my local body shop and they ordered a unpainted OEM rear bumper from Toyota and color matched it and installed it for $350. I then sold my chrome rear bumper on CL for $275.

This is pretty cheap and much better than plasti dip. Just do it right if you are going to mess with it.

Just a heads up. OEM rear bumpers either come unpainted for $250 or chrome for $675 from Toyota.
