If you are doing a projector retrofit, then the pattern from the reflector doesn't matter and either the TYC or Depo are going to be fine.
You're going to be splitting and re-sealing them anyways, which is the second issue with aftermarket housings.

I'm running Depo housings and am happy with them. They are available already BHLM, and the turn signal lens is nicer than the factory lens.

So splitting them open isn't too difficult compared to OEMs? Also, what did you think of the plastic? Did you put projectors in yours? Just noticed the Depos had some BLHM's, nice, that would save me a step!

I just don't want to spend the time and money doing these, and then have the lens fog or the plastic start to haze.

Of course the stock ones did that after 5-6 years...

for 2005-2011 i would either go OEM or DEPO.
for 2012+ i suggest OEM. with the TYC, its a hit or miss when it comes to the integrity of the parts.

try putting a clear tint on it.. like the 3m stuff

I think there are 5 orders right now? This batch seems to be taking a while longer than usual to fill up. I'll join in on this batch if it still has spots on Tuesday.

There's a thread on the H1... pretty much the same except for how the lamp mounts.

Whats the Difference in the BI-XENON: MORIMOTO MINI H1 6.0 and the BI-XENON: MORIMOTO MINI D2S 2.0? Is either one better for the 2012 Tacoma? Also any opinions on the best shrouds for the tacoma?

The difference is the projector and bulb. It really comes down to preference. You can google outputs of the mini h1 vs. the mini d2s to see which you prefer.

I believe Andrew (TRS employee) is contacting new members about eligibility. Probably wouldn't hurt to shoot him a pm first though.

I think that's 7, by my count. Almost there!

Some useful threads that I've sub'd in order to give me installation help:

LOL, obviously I did a lot of research...

Based on what people have told me, and what I've read, I'm going to order the Depo replica's with the black bezels. This saves me quite a few steps, as I was going to leave the reflectors as-is, but wanted the bezel black. So now I don't have to worry about painting it or flashing the paint. I also get a somewhat better looking housing too, at about 1/3rd the cost of new Toyota housings.
