I'm following another guys thread sort of, i'm looking to get my 3"toytec lift with rims and rubber for $3500 or less, that's with someone else doing the install as well. Whoever has a nice rim and rubber setup that won't break the bank please share! Also had a question about the toytec lift options, is it worth getting the upgraded rear billsteins for an extra $200

Forgot to add, I will be running 33's

Keep stock rims, use money saved for better tires or lift parts.

Discount Tire Direct is great, I ordered a set of wheels from them for my previous vehicle. They ship for "free" but charge $200 to cover duty and tariffs. It was shipped UPS and I had no additional brokerage charges upon delivery. Still cheaper than anything local.

Doesn't that equate to paying for the shipping? Actual brokerage and taxes would cost less than that....

It would cost more than $200 to ship to Canada. From the research I have don't the only time it was worth it to get the tires of discount tire would be if I bought rims off them too. Tires are cheaper at canadian tire.

Bottom line wheels from DTD were cheaper than anything the local shops could get me, even factoring in the extra costs. Tires, as Nfurtado pointed out, are cheaper to get locally.
