Nicknames and joking around versus racial slurs and threats are two VERY different things.

OP-Don't engage them at all...You could very easily loose your chance to be a Marine. And don't expect to have to be mistreated like this to get a spot in the Marines.

It doesn't sound like you wanna make trouble for your GFs Dad's business, so you have to decide how bothered you are. Cause your boss may not do anything...or going to complain may make it even worse.
Just think carefully and watch your back.

Only ever did once, some psycho **** sacked me as hard as she could for something I never even did. I didn't even slug her, but I threw her about 30 ft and she skidded along the ground.

Also poured a pint of brew on a lady once.

OP, those are wise words of advice. Assault charges and shit like that can keep you out of the marines too fyi.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
OP- It's a temp job mixing business and "family" (bad idea), and it's not worth any of the headache. Keep your cool (we all struggle with at times) and find somewhere else to work until you ship out.

You don't deserve to be treated like shit, but you also don't need assault charges keeping you from shipping to basic. Just walk away and get ready for the next phase of your life.

Now you got my interest..... 30 ft? That is super super impressive.

I can't say I never hit a women, becuase when I was 6 my big sister pushed me to the limit and I punched her in the tummy. She towered over me or I may have hit her in the face. Love my sis though, but she was such an ass to me and would pick on me all the time.

My mom looked at me after I did it and said, well its about damn time you stuck up for yourself. I have literally never hit a women since but have been hit by women a few times. Only to break up fights and the women were drunk.

Man this thread has it all, Racism! Sexism! Problems that are in no way related to a truck forum!

I got into a fight with the neighbor girl on a few occasions while we were very young... once we were slugging each other in the head (with bike helmets on for some reason) and another time she had a friend over and they teamed up on me, "first one to cry loses". They immediately kicked me in the 'nads and I lost :( That about sums up my experience with violence towards the opposite sex (and fighting all together, never been much of a fighter and usually joke my way out of them)

Anywho, OP my advice can be summed up as what goes around comes around. I went to school with a lot of mexicans that constantly were asking to fight, I don't know what it is with them but don't do it. It's just not worth it.

As for them teasing you for being the only white guy, c'mon. That is too easy

I've only read the OP's original post.

My suggestion is to tell your boss what's going on, unless he's as childish as these fucktards are. Then you still won't get anywhere.

I can tell you right now, it's just going to continue. Honestly you need to find a different job, but until then you're going to have to deal with these idiots and hate your job. Typical immature (insert name of choice here)

It's the joy that comes with having co workers. I hate them almost as much as I hate bosses.

His father-in-law owns the company and the other boys are teasing him, thats pretty much it.

He can't handle this shit now, man its going to get way worse when he joins and goes threw training. Time for him to take it like a man, learn to dish it back, and have fun with it. Guys do this shit and you can't let it bug you nor take it serious.

True. But this isn't that easy in this ruined economy. Much easier said than done these days.

Ok, up to speed now thanks, here's my advice to him. Punch the idiot as as hard and as quickly as he can right in the nose and kick him in the balls when he's on the ground. Then go tell his dad he handled it since he wouldn't.

The fact he came to a truck forum in hopes of getting real life answers isn't going to work anyway. especially here.

Now finding a job with the same income as the job you had or with the income you want/need, thats the difficult part.

Full time not an issue as much, permanent and not temp or contract work harder for sure.

For the record temp or contract work can in most cases lead to perm position that can equate to career should one to choose.

Eh picking on me is fine, I get the joking, it's also the damaging of my personal work equipment that's pissing me off. Nor is it boys either, I can handle it, just don't want to get sucked into a position where I'm gonna fuck myself over that's all. I've decided to stay and deal with it and keep blowing them off like I have for the past 6 months. I have a new job lined up so maybe it will be a semi better environment there.

Also this truck forum has amazing advice, most of y'all I have noticed are LEO, or military, which is cool. Wonder why the Tacoma truck draws so much LE and Military?

Yep, and folks need only because they want, it’s a viscous circle for sure. This is where being practical and making good financial decisions come into play, something that’s uncommon these days.

Way too many peeps who want want want and now to need the income to support them. These are the people who have the hardest time finding a job

    Off topic I know
