    Hello All,
I posted on here a few years back when I was looking to get a Tacoma. Got one... love it. BUT, I messed up. I rolled it on its side. Only major damage was a bent passenger A pillar, passenger door, and cosmetic dents.

My buddy at a body shop said it'd be better to replace the whole clip... basically take the body off the chassis and install a new clip. I was wondering if I could have some hillbilly just bend it back in place. I understand the door will need to be replaced, and will need to seal against the A pillar. Also, the windshield will need to fit and seal properly.

    Any ideas on cost?

I can attach more pics of the damage. The nicer pic is how it used to look.

nope can't bend that back. The windshiled frame has to be almost perfect to seal, that is just too far gone.

So it looks like my only option is to get the new clip? How to I go about finding the right parts? "Passenger Side Clip", is this even the right name? Or A-pillar replacement?

I like this idea better. If I can find a donor truck, I could possibly cut out what I need and bring it to a body shop, then they could do the rest. I haven't had to deal with frame/body work before, so I'm open to all the advice, opinions, and help.

There's a Toyota 4x4 specific shop down here in the bay area and they have 2 entire cabs listed for $400 a pop.

They're Lunar Silver but painting it white is probably cheaper than getting a donor truck.

Lemme see if I can get a link for you.
