duel batteries.

Has anyone ever thought about running duel batteries in a Tacoma? like how a boat has one battery for the kick over and one for accessories, i was thinking about how i could do this. any ideas?

 

Use the search functions. Very common for off roaders.

Lots of people do it, there are conversion kits to change over. Do a search here, or at Expeditionportal.com

The Expo guys use them for camping fridges and other stuff.

So do you have about 300 in the dual battery project with the blue sea and dual battery mounts.

 

I recommend using a battery monitor, like an Equus 3721, or a digital voltmeter because it displays has two decimal places necessary to somewhat accurately determine the State of Charge of a car battery or charging system output.

 

Are you running dual Batteries? IF so what setup do you have??
