    No more than 3k.

Chain is a bit loose, looks like a decent bike.

Looks sweet to me but id ask if its 1700miles total on the bike or since it was converted to supermoto. Side cases are pretty worn down. Id pay close to $3k also. Chain is slightly loose but thats a quick fix

Yeah looks like it spent some serious time as an offroad bike. I'd ask when it was last rebuilt and if it's got an hour meter on it. Luckily Yamaha's are pretty bullet proof.

Do worn down side cases mean it's been down a lot?

Those Warp 9 wheels are $900.

If its rebuilt id say forget it but definitely up to the op if he feels like he wants to spend his money on a rebuilt bike.

YZ450's are great reliable bikes. I had an 08 for a while and loved it! Almost too much power for the woods riding I did, so it would be a blast on the street. The 5 valve engines are very reliable as long as you keep the oil changed and air filter clean. If it checks out mechanically, I say do it, do it.

I have very little experience on motox bikes. Owned a gixxer 600 and a Daytona 675, but nothing with motox bikes.

Yeah I took that into consideration.

As an offroad bike I wouldn't do more than like 2200 just because used 4 stroke MX bikes scare me. If it's had one retarded owner that didn't take care of it you're screwed. It looks like a clapped out '07 450f.

Just a rule I have when buying a bike myself. I dont look at bikes that have been rebuilt. Usually they were ridden hard or have alot of use on them. Id have a mechanic look it over to be safe.

How can you tell if a bike has been rebuilt?

    Ask him.

General rule, if the bike has over 100 hours or so on it, it's time for a top end rebuild.

If you're not ready to be rebuilding that top end every 12-15k miles this might not be the bike for you. That's a high strung race motor in that bike.

Hopefully you have an honest seller that will tell you. Talk to the owner and try to get to know him a bit. Sometimes easy to spot someone that is a thrasher on bikes.

Honestly, I'd get a DRZ400SM, Husky, or one of KTM's supermotos. They're great bikes and will be much more reliable than a streeted MX bike.

That looks like a cleaner bike compared to the 2007 yamaha. Just take note that conversions parts are pretty expensive themselves like you saw that the warp 9 wheels are $900.
