Garmin GPS Mod

Bored of that plain looking GARMIN start up icon well do this. It doesnt have to be just this you can use any image. I chose this for the how to.
Supplies
Any Garmin GPS
Garmin GPS cord
Google.
Step 1: Google images (Garmin Toyota Icon)

Step 2: Save the image to your desktop
Step 3: Plug in your Garmin into the computer USB port and into the Garmin (you'll see a little Icon on your Garmin and a new device on computer)
Step 4: Click Open folder to view folders in Garmin autoplay

Step 5: Select Garmin folder

Step 6: Select JPEG folder

Step 7: Click you image file on your desktop and drag it into the JPEG file

Step 8: Unplug Garmin and let it boot up
Step 9: Select Tools
Step 10: Picture Viewer
Step 11: Select your image
Step 12: Select Info
Step 13: Check Display at power on?
You have successfully completed this Mod

Nice. I understand you can change the voice, too. I'm gonna try and see if I can download Daffy Ducks voice.

 

One of my friends had a pornstar voice, it wasn't a Garmin though. I didn't know you could change the voice on the Garmin.
