Under dash single din stereo

    As the title says I'm installing a stereo under the ac controls, I already put together the under dash kit with the plastic:

    but when I tried to install it again it won't fit because of a metallic box thats down there:

    this its how I want it to look. Any ideas?

    So that metallic box... I'm not sure what you're talking about. What is it? Is it causing the deck to stick out too far? Or is it causing the deck to be at the wrong angle?

    Why not just put the Cd player back in the stock location

    ah that makes sense now! have you thought about maybe trying to move the box around or mounting the cd player a smidge higher

    already trimmed the dash kit all around and it seems it's getting in place

    Reminds me of my brother's. He is in the process of redoing everything, and I think he is going to ditch the Headunit now.

    That "box" is the SRS (airbag) computer.
