Opinions: Red or Unpainted Bushwackers

Looking for opinions. Red Colormatched or Unpainted/Line-x Bushwackers. If you got pics or opinions post em! Thanks!

 

Always been partial to the unpainted on the 05-11



2012+ I like the new painted style that goes into the front bumper...

 

Unpainted - If you do decide on Line-X...Take the time to do it right and hopefully it'll bond correctly, but it's not made for plastic.

 

This,..and with the black/red theme you got going...black prob gets my vote aswell...

 

Gotta go with the painted look.

 

Personally I like them painted (as you can see in my picture ). I painted the bolts black before putting on the flares and matched everything else black to correlate with the theme like the others have mentioned. Either way I like the looks of the Bushwackers on the new Tacomas, plus they are pretty easy to install.

 

Nice I was thinking black too because I can always paint them later. Cheaper as well.

i just got mine today. Staying with unpainted black though, and painting the bolts satin black.

I have seen these on a LOADED Tacoma at the dealership near me.
They are from Bushwacker???
I really dig this look!! But i'd get it painted... or maybe Line X

PS: How the eff do u remove the factory flares anyways lol?

 

They're on the XSPX tacomas...not sure if they use actual color matched Bushwackers, or their own brand, but they're basically the same thing. The factory ones are held on by clips just like the Bushwackers are installed...

I think it kind of depends on the rest of the truck and how aggressive the look is. In your case, I would go with painted, I think it would look a lot cleaner with those wheels.
