    Hello Forum,
Took off my OEM flaps this morning and realized that there was yellow paint on the inside of the drivers side flaps. If I didn't have these I would have had it splattered on the side of the truck. Long story short, I want to replace them.

I'm not sure if I should trim my OEMS or by the Husky mud flaps. I've seen a few posts but none of them mention flexibility or tire clearance.

My fronts are already trimmed 2"'s but not sure if I should do more.

What are your experiences with the trimmed OEM's or the Husky's?

BTW, my OEMS are in excellent shape & flexible.

    Thank you for your time.
    :)

Just trim the stock. I also had paint on my stock ones and it peeled right off. It was latex. I trimmed mine up in the frint and they look like they came like tjat from the dealer. It is easy to do.

I have the front Husky flaps. They are not as flexible as the oem. They are a nice size and shape and would say they look better on the truck. I suspect they function just about the same and in my experience are equally as prone to be pulled off if they jam against your wheel:)

I was thinking about the same thing that lyodbraun said. Why spend money on what I already have so I decided to trim them. Tell me what you think:
