Truck makes weird noise please help thankyou.

    Yah let me know if you need any other help or other problems, Id be glad to lead some mechanics advice, My whole male side of my family are either auto body or mechanic. My grandpa is 85 and still painting cars, My dads been working on literally everything with a motor since he was 15, i worked at the shop he owned after school sweeping and all that, Had oil changes down before i passed middle school lol

    Couple other Q

    How do i know if my rotor warped?
    How do i know if i have to change the rotor.
    Also when do i have to change the rear shoes for the rear drums?

    Run your finger across the rotor, Chances are you can feel it. If you wanna stay cheap you can have them turned but most likely if youve warped them to much they wont turn them, I suggest just getting rotors and pads at the same time, The rear shoes last a little longer but if you want to stay up to date and on the ball just do the shoes together with the rotor and pads, Also have the drums checked.

    If the grease is for the u-joints id suggest any grease with moly. Tends to stand up better to workload and water and dirt.

    Im not quite sure of the truck u-joint specific Grease, someone else might chime in with better advice..

    I know this might be a dumb question, but how do you change the other side cause is it the same way cause in the vid they only show how to change only 2 sides of the 4 of the u joint.

    just to clarify my truck is a automatic 4 cylinder 2006 single cab and will a lot of trans oil come out from the trans?
    how much will come out?

    I'm not sure if this works for tacoma but if you lift the ass-end of your truck i think you can prevent alot of the oil from coming out.

    Unless your transmission is grossly overfull, it should not leak with the back end up in the air

    does it have to be tranny fluid from toyota? Or can I get it from Oreillys.
