I am picking up a 2013 TRD Sport quad cab on Saturday & had a question about how the ipod/mp3 works on it? is it just a cord that plugs into your ipod or smart phone? does it charge it as well?

You can plug it in via the USB, and it will charge it. You can also use Bluetooth to connect with the stereo. Mostly, I use a USB memory stick and just plug that in. If I want to connect to Pandora or iHeart radio, then I connect via Bluetooth.

Ahhhhhh thanks, does it come with it or do they charge you extra for the USB adapter? I found the truck I want but have to drive 7 hours to pick it up so I haven't driven it yet. It hasn't even been titled yet & only had 10 miles on it.

There is a USB port down below the HVAC controls. I'm assuming you're getting one with the entune? I have the entune/nav radio, so that's the only one I have experience with in the Tacoma. Other than the initial cost of the entune/nav there are no other additional costs for it.

The bare bones non-entune touchscreen unit also has AUX/USB plug in as well.

Glad to be here, here is the truck I am getting. I can't wait to get it. It's been a while since I have had a Toyota truck, been exploring the beemer, porsche world for a while.

[IMG]It won't let me post a picture of it, do you have to have a certain amount of posts before it will let you put up an image?

Thanks buddy, I was thinking they did, but didn't know well enough to say for sure.

I gotta say I am digging this truck, had a few issues with the dealer not having the truck alligned after getting the leveling kit & wheels put on it but after getting a proper allignment on it, it drives perfect! Also the bluetooth with the smartphone to listen to your music is awesome! Like I said I am digging this truck!
