Before I even get started. I was on a closed course location in Quonset Point in RI. Google it and learn

Anyways 2 runs and all I would do is 93. 3rd time I got 100. 4th run needle was at 100 with GPS reading 97.7mph. Now why did this happen. Not tuned on anything. Build section below

It's a limiter at 93 and after just laying on it I started to pull along.

    Doubt it's limited at 93.
Could be DRAG limited, and when you stayed on it, the wind changed and allowed you to get more out of it.
My '67 Chevelle was drag limited to 80. It was a 283 with a 2bbl carb. A simple carb and intake replacement would have opened it up, but stock, it wouldn't go over 80 no matter how hard I mashed the gas.

My '94 Toy pickup wouldn't do better than 85 after I put 31's on it.
My '03 Tundra was program limited at 105. You'll know it if you hit an ignition limiter.
2nd Gen is just limited on the "fly by wire"... when you get to the limit, the ECU throttles back.

Not sure I'd WANT to be in a Tacoma doing more than 95 though. The front end on that Tundra was REEEEALY light at 105.

It was comfy... but I could tell that a slight crosswind would not have been fun.

It felt a lot like when I had my '76 Datsun pickup loaded down with a bunch of bricks and concrete from demoing bro-in-law's fence.
