Manual Trans Drain Plug with No Magnet

Just drained the transmission oil on my 2011 4WD Tacoma with a 5-speed manual. There is no magnet on the drain plug. The only thing that differentiates it from the fill plug is that the fill has a dab of yellow paint, the drain, a dab of orange.

Did they mess up in manufacturing? Should I worry?

The fill plug item 33101A and drain plug item 33104 are listed with the same P/N in Toyota's catalog - 9034118006, so neither was designed to have a magnet.

You can always install one of these at the next maintenance interval if you want:

 

Wish I knew this going into it, because I would have picked two up (transfer case also does not have a magnet). Next time - in about 50k miles...
