Bought this from a farmer in KY before I deployed. Sanded it down and painted it, now looking for ideas on the next step. Should I enclose it, lift it, leave as is??? Or, sell it and buy an old military trailer?

Those are all great ideas, thanx. I like the idea of mounting rotopax containers to the front.

It's a nice trailer, I'd just leave it as-is unless you need a dedicated off road trailer. If that's the case, it might be easier to sell it and buy a military trailer. Most road going trailers aren't built to handle the stresses of off road driving. For every day use though, military trailers are very heavy and, in my opinion, impractical for a DIY home owner.

    Build thread in sig...
if the frame is well built to handle everything you throw at it, you could build a new axle for it with hubs to match your tacoma. I love having matching wheels, because now i'm never short on spares when i pull the trailer around. and you'll be building a sizable axle to use those hubs, meaning that the axle (usually the weak point on trailers), will now be good to go for a loooong time
