Gear question???

So my dad wants to put a nice 6" lift on 95 4x4. He would like to run 35's on it and use it as a hunting/farm truck. The lease is in the hill country and just to make it easier we are installing 4.88 replacement gears. We are going to be driving this truck back and forth from our house to the lease and was wondering would the new gears help keep the MPG the same or would the 35's still run it into the ground???? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

 

definatly need gears 5.29 but they are very pricey

 

4:56 OR 4:88, I would go more with the 4:88. 5:29's only if it will never see black top. if you're doing that kind of lift with 35's fuel milage should be the least of your worries!!!! i vote for 4:88's!!! good luck.
