Can anyone recommend a good quality winter grille cover? The average winter temperature up here is around -20 Celcius (about -4 Farenheit). I have a very short commute so I am hoping for something that will help the engine warm up faster without having to idle for 15 minutes. Cardboard will work in a pinch but I would prefer a more elegant solution.

You can't buy a vehicle in the north without a block heater already installed. Once it gets colder than around -20C plugging in is pretty much a necessity if you want your vehicle to start easily in the morning. It doesn't help the truck warm up any faster though though.

    wasnt aware...... bummer.
I cant handle snow, so anything that cold would keep my fat ass inside and thats why I wasnt aware about the block heater not helping.

Thanks, already found that one on Google as you said. They don't ship that particular product to Canada sadly.

Has anyone on here actually used the Fia cover? Thoughts on fit and quality?

I realise this is a stale thread but thought I would follow up to see how well the Bra worked for you. As a Winnipeg-er I can appreciate the desire to hit operating temperature quickly.

Would love to hear your thoughts now that you have been using one for a number of years.
