I found a 2013 stock touch screen Tacoma radio for a good price and was wondering if it will fit and work with a 06 Tacoma? If it does any idea what is involved to get it to fit and work. Tried searching and didn't find to much about it

Hey Jim, was just curious if you were able to successfully get this head-in unit installed. Was shopping around for some second hand radios myself.

you can get a newer 2nd gen tacoma surround so you do not have to cut. The one issue you will run into is the wiring. Its different in pre 2012. There are some threads about the conversion. If you go that route I would go with a 2014 or 2015 HU.

Something like this I can work with as long as I find an adapter for the antenna?
