First off thanks for having this forum, i am apart of a few shooting forums i just bought a new 2014 TRD off road tacoma. Very happy with it thus fare. I found this site searching ways to lock my tailgate from theft as well as looking at toppers and covers. Using the hose clamp that i found in a write up was great it will give me some time till I can install a pop-n-lock or something else.

I am into competitive shooting and hunting. I shoot mostly high power rifle CMP and NRA and combat pistol. I am looking for a strong topper or cover i can use as storage when i need the back seats for friends. Been looking at the diamondback covers.

If there are any suggestions as to what i should get please let me know? Or good tips for a new owner? i am still looking around the forum.

Will post a picture once i upload it to photo bucket.

Do you want just a tonneau or do you want a shell?

I am open to both. but leaning towards the tonneau cover that way i can take it off when i need more room in the bed. i am interested in hard or metal tonneau covers something a little more secure than a fabric tonneau cover. also needs to be lockable.
