So I just ordered my first truck: 2014 Tacoma TRD offroad in spruce green. I'm already excited to start modding it, enough so to jump ahead and buy a few accessories off ebay.

Here's what I expect to arrive in a few weeks:

I'm debating between black stealth emblem or chrome:

I was going to add the chrome emblem on the tailgate next to the "V6."

    Planned mods:
    Window tint
Black bull bar (yay or nay?)
    1.5" spacers
    BHLM Headlights
HID headlights (not sure if it's worth it)

    Opinions and suggestions welcome!

    Welcome to the club.

I did the same thing you're doing; I bought all the mods months before I even bought my truck. So the second day I got it home from the dealership - I began working on switching things out and making it look the way I've always pictured it to look.

Here are some of my suggestions:
    1. I would put that TRD emblem (preferably chrome) on the tailgate. The front grille shouldn't be too cluttered. Think of it as the face of your truck. Besides you're gonna be adding a bull bar to the front anyways. I think "black" would look good but perhaps have the skid plate portion be either chrome or stainless steel.

    2. You definitely need those windows tinted. You could spend $150 at your local Toyota dealership and have them tint it for you. OR if you don't mind spending a bit more (est $600) for the SAT (Solar Adaptive Transition) tint which is what I have on my Taco. The following link will explain more about what SAT does.
    http://www.evsmotors.com/sat-solar-adaptive-transition-tint-only-at-evs-motors-performance-studio-in-houston-tx/

    3. If you don't mind blinding somebody directly in front of you. Having HIDs is definitely worth it. It produces more light (depending on the amps) and uses less energy. Would you also get HIDs for your fog lights too?

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I haven't decided on the fogs. might go some lower temp around 3000-4000K.

Those window tints are nice, but a little too advanced for the budget.

The day has finally arrived and picked up my Tacoma this morning. Sadly it's all dirty due to all the snow we have, but hey..it's a new truck!

    LOL.

Clearly ISU was desperate when the fans rush the court as a higher ranked team ;)

Any time ISU can beat Iowa the students get excited. I don't care for basketball so I didn't watch the game, but I heard it was pretty good.
