Not really. I've discovered that the indentations for the tags in the rear bumper is an indicator for my rear wheels in relation to curbs. Always works for me:D.

When the break in the bumper is at the curb I know my wheels are pretty close.

Yea I only added it because of those tight spaces...plus my truck is wider a some added precaution isn't bad

It's not electrically connected, you would need to buy a harness and wire some stuff differently to make it work on the radio screen

The harness is on eBay for $65-80

I think he got a new truck and hasn't updated his info. That's not an '08 dash.

Is the clock backlit green? Looks different than mine.

Guess you didn't click the link I posted on page 1? Pic of steering controls but not up close. Buttons from top/bottom left/right: arrows are to scroll through options, turned arrow is to go back (i think), silver button is volume, on right side are answer/hangup buttons, and small button bottom left of those is voice input button.

Go to autotrader and search for a base model and find your pics.

The base radio has HD audio now?

I had a JVC HU with HD Radio in my old truck. It was a neat feature because it gave me alternate channels that didn't play the normal radio BS, but I always disliked the on/off reception (similar to the new digital converters for over-the-air television signal). I always felt like it was silent more than it played audio, although that may have just been a weak antenna in my old truck.

What is the "text" feature that people are talking about with the '13 radio? I don't completely understand what they're talking about? Sorry if it's been explained before.

Not sure on bases getting HD radio...but there are 4 levels of Entune now so maybe.

The "text" feature on 2013's was limited to those with Entune/JBL and was supposed to let you see texts on your phone if it was linked via bluetooth, but something about the truck being in motion wouldn't let you look at the texts so it was a worthless feature. I think that is how it is, someone with 13' Entune correct me if I am wrong.

Huh. So does that mean those of us with the base Entune can install the firmware updates that have been coming out?

I'm not really trying to add nav (though that could be a fun project), just interested in whether they might have made improvements to the interface.

Mr2mki... so you have a base Entune? I'm told that the 2014 Sport comes standard with the base Entune and I'm trying to confirm that it does not receive temperature data. I assume that you don't have temp in the mirror either? I'm lemoning my 2013 Sport with dimming mirror/temp and I'm trying to figure out how to get the temp reading again in a 2014.

My 14 has the entune plus and the auto dimming mirror with temp guage is long gone

The hd radio does have a temp on it, but it's a current temp based on location not the actual measurement at the truck

The 2014's do not have the temp gauge. The in dash unit has the weather channel on it and it will give you currnet temperature.

No temp in mirror either. I love the audio unit. Its got all i need. Dont need navi.

I love my JBL system. It sounds good with any type of music. And it was put in nice and neat by the factory. I highly recommend it!

I'm just not sure I would want to pop for the better radio out of pocket, I heard that it can be an $1800 add. The non-entune in my 2013 is pretty much junk, the sound is crap, it does however have a good Bluetooth for me to stream from my smart phone, yet the same crappy audio quality. I can probably spend less and get more in the aftermarket, I'd just be worried about losing my steering wheel controls.
