I have been trying to figure out a solid way to mount my cell phone in the truck, I don't mind tossing it in the cup/cubby holes in the center console but I wanted something solid. I have a life proof case on my phone so not many after market items work with it that I wanted to use. So I modified a belt clip and used some extra strong two sided tape and came up with this! I wanted to be able to charge the phone while it was in the holder and not have some complex holder that would take my eyes off the road etc trying to get the phone out of the holder for what ever reason.

I removed the clip lock and spring and cut out the bottom for the charge port door on the case so it could be removed smoothly with little effort while being charged.

I removed the stops on the clip so it will pretty much swivel 360* if I want it to.

I had the same issue with the otterbox on my galaxy S4, i found a mount that is adjustable for all phones and it holds it nicely. Plugs into the 12v and it charges android + iphones and it has the aux frequency on it as well, convenient for my truck since it has no aux and i can play my music off my phone :) 29.99 only!

They sell them at canadian tire, not sure if they will have the same ones where you live. I bought it in store, not online so i'm not sure where to look for it
