I'm not sure either one of those would fit and get the results you are looking for. I know you didn't ask but I personally think it would look... silly.... for lack of a better word. If you want more light just go with a behind the grill mount or a N-Fab (or similar) light bar to mount the light.

I am also hoping to put a 20" or 28" in the lower grill so it still looks clean and hidden, but thought it would be cool to have one in the scoop. Guess bad idea and I will go for the lower mounted one. Thanks for the reply and also like the white and black contrast on your build.

I've seen guys mount em in the scoop. Doesn't look that difficult. Behind the grill is definitely sexy. 30"ers fit perfect in the lower valence.

    Thank you!

I've got a N-Fab bar on it's way and a 30" LED bar that will sit on top of it. I'm kind of in the minority here but I just like the way the lights look sitting on a bar outside of the grill. Most like the behind the grill option or in the lower grill. On the bar is just my style I suppose ;)

This is the look I'm going for with the exception of a 30" bar instead of 2 smaller pods on the outside.

That looks sick. The only downside is the potential to damage the light or theft.

What kind of bar is that and how it it mounted? That does look sick and glad to know 30" fits good because i thought it would be a tad bit to big but thats really good to know.
    Thanks

Check out okledlightbars.com too. The guys a member and he's awesome. Quality products and insane customer service. Here's TW member Infra's led setup. 20" in the grill 30" in the valence.

the led light bars dont fit in the scoop for the 2013. The scoop was redesigned in 2012. I am putting my 30" in the lower valance.

That is a N-Fab bar. It has 2 brackets that mounts to the existing bumper bolts an then the bar mounts to the brackets. Took me maybe 20 mins to mount on my 2011. I assume it will be similar on the 13.
