We are cut off for the amount of rigs we have at the moment, if for some reason alot of people bail we will accept more peeps!
sorry guys, with 10 rigs already its going to take us all day to get through this, next time!!

    Here is the Plan:

on 11/8 meet at the lower sycamore entrance at 630pm, leave at 7pm.
you can see where the lower sycamore entrance is in the link below for the map.
    https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit?mid=zkv8wBqmL9EI.kSDeEn6uOaFM

from there we will do the loop, and come out of upper sycamore. then we will head up the 87 freeway to log corral trail.
    https://maps.google.com/maps?q=33.82316,-111.613672&hl=en&num=1&t=h&z=19

we should be there no later than 830pm, EASILY. i can do the loop in less than 30 minutes easy with no stops, and hauling ass.

in log corral trail, we will be camping somewhere from the 87 turnoff down in the wash. you would not be able to miss us.
for people not camping friday night, please meet us on log corral trail at the camp around 8am. i figure we will take off to begin the trail by 830am.

the first mile in log corral trail is pretty dam challenging, once we get past that its all nice and breezy all the way up and over the mountain to the back side of bartlett lake, very scenic.

i figure about 2-4 hours to get to the water hoping nothing goes wrong with the rigs.

this is the next camping spot, right on bartlett lake. bring some fishing poles and lets see what we can get!
Me personally, i can not camp saturday night, so i plan to take off from bartlett to wheel back around 1pm. so if you cant camp saturday night, no worries in trying to figure out how to get back.

    list-
4runnercaged-doing the sycamore loop, camping friday at log corral, coming back saturday at 1pm.
seabass-Meeting at camp before 8am saturday morning, camping saturday night.
statisquelch-Meeting at camp before 8am saturday morning, camping saturday night
specalt-Meeting at camp before 8am saturday morning, camping saturday night
infra-doing the sycamore loop, Camping friday and saturday
    mh.meier-Camping friday and saturday
    jeep andrew-camping friday and saturday
    socalduckslayer+smack-camping friday and sat night

    Requirements-
    4X4
    know how to wheel
    sliders
    32s at least, bare minimum.
some lift, stock height i dont think would make it.

    Recomended-
    skids
    winch
    rear locker

i am a 4wd prerunner, sliders, 4.88s, locked in the rear.
no winch or full skids for me.

i have done this trasil probably 15 times on my dirtbike, it is an awesome trail.

here are some pictures from a while back for referance.

i did the trail like 3 weeks ago in rhinos, it is easier than most of these pictures. the rain significatly changes the trail every time.

Here's some other pics of the larger boulder gardens for those on the fence about this run and what their truck can do. More than my rig can handle right now, especially without lockers and full armor behind the IFS skid.

The pics are stamped as 2006. I'm very curious about this trail. I really want to knock it off the check list but at the same time I'm wishing there was some magical guarantee that I'm not going to break something expensive. Dammit, now you have me really contemplating doing this trail.

Not sure honestly. Need to get my truck back together as well as planning a 2-3day desert trip/camp trip.

Do it! Parts can be replaced.

oh yeah i didnt see that.... haha
i have been wanting to knock it off for a while as well!

the good part is, going in is harder than getting out. so if you get in, you can def get out. because going in is going up hill.

theres also a powerline road that goes out sunflower so if something happens its not like we must get out that same way.

My 05 is not but my 89 is. I have the front diff out right now. Need to put in new seals then stick it back in the truck. Need to replace motor mount on drivers side as well as figure out why it is only running on 5 cylinders.

Next June once my $48k in taxes is paid off, then money won't matter so much

Right now it's costing me $1400 a month out of my take-home to pay it off. 'Nuff said.

Yeah it has prevented me from getting my RTT, Dakars, longer shocks in rear, extended brake lines, front bumper/winch reinforcement to frame, new tie rods, regear/lockers, more skids, and full front bushing kit. The wait will be worth it though.
